So I have been messing with my QOS settings on my router. I am a big gamer so in my house I have 3 ps3, 1 wii, gaming laptop and my gaming desktop, plus all the other wifi stuff. I have set my desktop and my ps3 which is hardwired to have the highest priority, everything else is set to low and medium.
Well I have TW internet 50 down 5 up, when I run a speed test on speedtest.net with QOS off, I get 56 down and 6 up. With QOS on I get speeds of 37 to 40 down and 3 to 4 up? I was wondering why this happens, I use to have a net gear N6300 and never had issues with QOS being on or off?? The QOS for the asus is more complex so I am wondering what can I do to fix this or is there a guide for the QOS; I have looked up stuff on YouTube but have not found a video really explaining the QOS features on the asus rt-n66r. Any advice will help.
