Question about 5300 Config transfer?

I've got a Asus 5300 with all sorts of settings. I'm getting a new GT-AX11000.

Can I save my 5300 settings and upload them to my new GT-AX11000 to make the transfer easier?

Not unless you use a Merlin add-on script like nsru.

Don't do it (even with the script indicated).

Going from an AC to an AX router, do yourself a favor and make a new network. SSID's and all.

It's the only sane way to get the most out of the new router.
