Question about RT-AC68R/U Firmware

Hey guys I have a question for you pro's on here.

I have been running the MERLIN 3.0.04.374.40 alpha4 firmware, I have never had any issues with it, so I am wondering if I should update to the newest firmware that MR. Merlin has done for this router??

Any advice would help.

I myself run the latest stock ASUS firmware since I haven't had issues with it but Merlin's latest firmware has the same drivers as the latest ASUS firmware. I'd say update it but always do clean format by clearing NVRAM and reloading your saved configuration.

Do not reload saved configuration. Always start from scratch after firmware flash.
