Question about wireless bridge with network printer.

I have a printer without wired or wireless connection and since my printer server failed last year, this is what I've done and I have always wondering if it is the right way, although it works fine.

1) My main router ip is 192.168.0.1 and dhcp range is 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.120
2) I have flashed a cheap used Dlink DIR-615 with ddwrt and set it as wireless bridge with ip 192.168.0.4 and same subnet mask as main router and it connected to main router via wifi.
3) I have bought a cheap router with usb and set that as a switch with everything disabled (dhcp, wifi etc) and have the printer connected to it. IP is 192.168.0.3 and same subnet mask. This cheap router is connected to the wireless bridge with network cable.

All my computers can connect to this printer via setup as network printer with ip 192.168.0.3 and no problem printing from it.

Am I doing it right? Tia

P.S. By the way when main router was with xvortex merlin firmware, it will report a device connected with ip 192.168.0.4 but when main router is with Lede firmware it will report a device connected with the right mac address but host is 1.1.1.1. Nothing was set with main router related to both.
