Question: worth it just for access points?

This looks great!

I actually tested one setup:

ER605 (better hardware one is ER7206)
OC200 (there is OC300, but not needed)
TL-SG108PE (Omada SND integrated one is TL-SG2008P)
2 x EAP245v3 (new Wi-Fi 6 ones are EAP610/620/660)

It's very good and some AP's offer wireless mesh (check the firmware notes). Fastest switching between APs I've seen so far.
 
I would expand your capabilities on that box and turn it into your router as well. This freeing up needing one and allowing to spend on APs instead.

It already handles routing, firewalls can route.
It does all intervlan traffic, so i get the granularity of firewall rules instead of dealing with ACL's on my L3 switch. Easier to manage.


Nice! Much more power efficient than mine lmao.
Those Intel i350-T4 are hard to beat, i have several. Rock solid, completely stable.
