Quick question regarding data usage.

I have a quick question i have an asus RT-AX3000 with asus merlin how would i add a monthly cap to stop global internet traffic since my data plan with comcast is 1.2tb a month if their is a plugin that can help with this i appreciate it and also is their a way that the data usage on the router can reset itself every month so i dont get over charged. I appreciate it.

You have to monitor you data usage on Comcast's account. What your router shows as data usage may not be accurate and Comcast wouldn't care about your local data monitoring. There is a quota monitoring script in add-ons, but your NAT acceleration has to be disabled for more accurate measurement.

There was a query recently about how to detect DOWNLOAD throughput activity and BLOCK the device if deemed appropriate so I have revised my suggested solution. Using the Traffic Analyzer reports, you can review device activity, but real-time monitoring may be useful. So here is my shoddy...
