I connected my external hdd. My computers are able to see the drive. When I go to genie app on my phone and navigate to "my media", then "r7000", it keeps saying "loading my media" and freezes. On my smart DVD player when I am in the dlna option, "r7000" shows up as the server, but when I click on it, it says"please confirm your network settings". The DVD player accesses the internet with out issues. I did some troubleshooting with netgear by putting old firmware back onto router and nothing fixed it. Router is three weeks old. Dlna is enabled as it was first item I checked. In "my media" on my genie app in iphone, I clicked on my cell phone to see pictures or videos and the folders were empty. Netgear concludes that I have a defective router. Anyone else have these issues with dlna?
