New Around Here
I have a Netgear R7000 which is doing great but I wanted to upgrade to a tri-band router to take advantage of the extra 5GHZ band as I have lately added a few AC clients and would like to separate them from the legacy 5GHZ clients I already have. I was deciding between the R8000 and the RT- AC3200. I tried the new TP-Link Archer c3200 and the Archer AC-2600 with MU-MIMO and didn't like them. The D-Link 3200 is just too big. Which one should I get and why?

Neither, the one I would be wanting to test in your situation is the RT-AC5300 instead.

Why? No point in buying old products and designs.

if the d-link was to big the 5300 is not for him since its huge.

An arbitrary size condition does not make good sense when evaluating if the design, hardware and firmware, of a potential router can meet or exceed the requirements as stated for the next few years.
