Random DNS problem ever 30 minutes or less

shroomz

New Around Here
I have an ASUS RT-AC68U router and I keep getting this problem randomly DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET. But if i'm already on a web site or if i'm playing a game and i'm on a server it doesn't disconnect if i'm already connected to that server. Only when I try to join a new server or go to a new web site it wont let me and it will do this for 5-10 minutes. This happens to all my devices whether its wired or wireless. When I have my computer directly connected to my modem it doesn't do this.

Thanks in advance.

You can try other DNS. Rub a utility called namebench.
See the result and pick a DNS for you. Default DNS is not the
only one you have to use.

Here’s the mail I got recently who fixed my problem permanently

1. Is the issue confined to Chrome?

2. Do you have the same issue while using Microsoft Edge or Internet Explorer?

3. I suggest you to run the network troubleshooter and check.

4. In the search box on the taskbar, enter Network troubleshooter, then select Identify and repair network problems.

5. If the issue persists, try to reset TCP/IP settings and check if it helps.

6. Press Windows Key + X key together.

7. Select Command Prompt (Admin).

8. At the command prompt, enter the following command, and then press Enter:

a. netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

b. Note: If you don't want to specify a directory path for the log file, run the following command instead:

c. netsh int ip reset

d. Restart the computer.

e. Please update us with the status. We will be glad to assist you.
