Recommend a basic 5gHz cell phone

Looking to give one of my kids a cell phone. Two silly requirements 1) 5ghz wifi 2) GPS

This would be the only 2.4gHz wifi device in the house so I really don't want to maintain a network for one device. Maybe I am too OCD?

Carrier is Sprint but thathe shouldn't matter.

They sent me a samsung J3 but it's 2.4 only.

Galaxy S4's and later are all dual band - for iPhones - iPhone 5/5s/5s and later are all dual band...

(FWIW - iPod Touch 5th Gen and 6th Gen (current) are also dual band, and the 6th Gen is also 802.11ac)
