Reliable network storage in wireless environment

I would like to find a NAS type storage system to attach to my Linksys WRT54gs router and perform overnight backups from both of our wireless laptops. I previously purchased the Ximeta NDAS drives, but they do not work wirelessly (ie, computer crashes). I would like to use the 500GB PATA/133 drives from the Ximeta's in some type of NAS enclosure. Recommendations appreciated. At the moment, I'm looking at the Coolmax CN-350 enclosure.

Most of today's Bring Your Own Drive (BYOD) NASes use SATA drives. You will be limited to looking at IDE drive enclosures that also support network connection.

You might also look at ADS NAS Drive Kit (NAS-806-EF). Not very fast. But neither is backing up using a wireless connection.

Thanks for the response. I'm looking for feedback from anyone currently using a NAS type drive in a wireless environmnent for backup (ie, drive wired to router with PCs connected wirelessly). The drive must be PATA/133 compatible since I plan to migrate drives from my Ximetas to the new drive enclosure. I am willing to use FAT32 and accept slower speeds since backups will be done overnight.

News flash! Ximeta (Klegg) has offered me a full refund on return! I accepted. Now I will be looking for a dual bay NAS enclosure with Gigabit interface that accepts SATA II drives. Of course, I need to focus on drives that will operate reliably in a wireless environment. Any suggestions?
