Repeater can't see device connected to main router

New Around Here
Here's a basic question. I have two ASUS routers: my main router is an RT-AX86U and my remote router is an RT-AC66U running in repeater mode. If a device (here, a Philips Hue bridge) is connected (via Ethernet) to the main router, shouldn't it be visible to a smartphone connected (via Wi-Fi) to the remote router? I mean, isn't device sharing the point of networking?

Not sure but, repeater mode sounds like it's still trying to route. Put it into AP mode and things should start working as expected.
