New Around Here
Hi,

My assignment is to help my client to deploy a vpn connections from the HQ to different office branches. The clients would like to access their invoicing system in their HQ from their office in different branches.

There will be a 1 server setup at the HQ. The rest of the branches will not have server but individual computers. I have been looking at these 2 vpn routers:

1) Safestream Gigabit Broadband VPN Router TL-R600VPN.
2) Safestream Gigabit Dual-WAN VPN Router TL-ER6120.

Could you assist me to let me know which router needs to be deploy at the HQ and which one needs to be deploy at the branches please?

I will look forward to your quick reply.

Thanks:D

The 6120 is the more powerful of the two.
If you can afford it, just get two of them.
If not, then place the 6120 at the HQ and deploy the 600 at the branches

Hi recon. I'd advise you pay attention to the stability and throughput goals you want to hit, as many budget VPN devices are a bit lacking in those areas.

At that price range, you might also want to look at a Zyxel USG40/60 or ZyWall 110. A bit pricier, but a fair bit more powerful and most likely better support as well.
