Reset after Power outage

Hi guys,
I live in South Florida and we get Power outages quier often here. I own a Asus RT-N66U with Merlin Ver. installed 378.56_2 . I updated from the previous Stable version supported for this model. We had a Power outage 2 weeks ago and one last night. (I got a UPS but power was gone for 2 hours) Anyhow, after every Power Outage I have to reconfigure the entire Router. I know I could backup the settings but is that a normal behavior for the Firmware or did I miss a spot to permanent Save the Settings? Thank you for your help ahead of time and keep up the good work

OK, almost same issue. I don't think a surge protector gonna fix the issue. The UPS got one inside. I gonna reflash the router in a bit do a factory reset after and see if it fixes the issue. Thank you for the link didn't found them via phone.
