New Around Here
I live in the Netherlands and am planning to switch to XS4ALL 500/500mb optic fiber internet. I have a Asus RT-AC68U router which I wish to use. This provider tells me that the router needs to work with VLAN6 with a PPPoE connection type, IPv4 and IPv6 will run over this connection then.
I read that the router needs to use the RFC4638 protocol.

Can someone please confirm that:
A) this router can be used with XS4ALL?
B) the Merlin firmware supports all I need?

Thanx guys!

Are they not able to provide a LAN connection from the ONT for you to your router?

RFC4638 is supported, but I haven't tested it personally. It's not supported by the stock FW.

Yes, can be used with XS4ALL ..

@andyzee: Andy, does this mean when you manually activate VID6 on port1 that port 2, 3 and 4 wil have internet access or is the internet access limited to just port1? If it's just port1, how can I fix it to have internet access on port 2, 3 and 4?
