Router to Switch Uplink

I have a question that if I connect all four ports from my router to my 24 port switch as uplinks, will this give me any performance increase across my network between the router and the switch or will it do nothing / or have no advantage?

Worse than no advantage--it will cause a broadcast loop that will eventually bring your network down.
