Boo. Why have 10 Gb ports and not >= 10000 PHY...

This is a new addition to other ProArt marketed products. There is ProArt Networking now.

PRT-BE5000 was shown at CES 2026 and ASUS mentioned it was going to be around US $150 in March 2026. The pictures shown at the time reveal 2 USB ports (USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 most likely). I wonder if that changed? Anyways, the design looks exactly like the the RT-AX59U. It's rumored to be using Mediatek MT7987 like RT-BE59 which is in the midst of getting Openwrt support. However, I doubt RT-BE59 will be sold in the United States / Canada just like RT-AX59U.

TP-Link's Archer BE260 / BE5000 is the most similar product against PRT-BE5000 and it's currently on sale for $100 at Amazon. It's using the same Mediatek MT7987 based on FCC 2BH7FBE5000 internal photos.

Yes, looks like already existing hardware in already existing case with different marketing based on "creative traffic" (whatever it means) QoS presets. No USB ports on product pictures and the alternative model number is PRT-BE59 without U. Target customers are most likely the ones who have ProArt branded desktop, monitor or laptop and may want ProArt branded router. Otherwise nothing really new in technology.
