RP-BE58 Range Extender

Hello Folks,

Installed one of the RP-BE58 Range Extenders today, just using it in repeater mode

Just wondering if anyone knows if the 2.4g band can be turned off on the extender allowing it to only advertise the 5g band

I have a friend who tried this out as a repeater as well and I do not think was successful in turning off a channel, (in his case his goal was to turn off 5 GHz). As an AiMesh node with Ethernet backhaul Mode or Access Point mode (again connected by Ethernet) this may be possible, but beyond that I do not know.

When I run the device in AIMesh mode I am able to disable individual bands

Was trying repeater mode as it allows a different SSID to be used to differentiate from the main Router
