[RP-N12] AP mode same SSID

New Around Here
Hi everybody. I have an Asus RT-AC68U, and need to extend coverage. I'm not worried abou extending 5G signal, so I've bought a few (4) RP-N12 units to use in AP mode. I have cabling from router to APs.

I didn't find more details about roaming configuration, so my questions are:

Can I use these in AP mode, with same SSID?
Do I need to setup different channels?
Is it possible to change the RP-N12 hostnames persistently?

Thanks.

Can I use these in AP mode, with same SSID? You can try - I'm assuming you are going to try and roam. it's up to the clients. Some may stick..

Do I need to setup different channels? Yes - 1,6,11 on 2.4ghz. (if your clients support 5ghz disable 2.4ghz). Try higher channels on 5ghz.

Is it possible to change the RP-N12 hostnames persistently? unknown (to me anyways)..
