Hi,

Error Message LOG: kernel: br0: received packet on vlan1 with own address as source address

Anybody else experience this messages on this Asus Router. I have no idea where this message is coming from.

I used to see this regularly but not for a while, suspect it is a client that has changed. It is not just Asus, must be the Broadcom drivers - also seen on dd-wrt and tomato forums. In my case I am sure it was due to having an accesspoint at other end of house and clients that can roam between the AP and the main router, or maybe between bands on same router. Not sure about that specific router but vlan1 is usually the lan ethernet interface. Have a search on forums for suggestions of workarounds - might help, but not clear it is a performance issue - just clutters the log?
