RT-AC3200 Smart Connect. Not so smart???

Hi guys

I got an Asus RT-AC3200

He has the Smart Connect feature that connects your device to most apropietaded wifi avaiable , 5ghz-1 5ghz-2 or 2.4

The problem is that it`s allways connecting my iphone 6 plus at the lowest 5.1 band or to the 2.4 band and my iuPad connects to the 5ghz-1 that is the fatest one

Any way to make this smart feature really smart?

The smaller the device, the lower the wireless performance you can expect from it.

The RTAC-87U used the 5ghz fine, but it did not have the smart connect

I was talking about your handheld mobile devices you're using to determine whether smart connect is really smart.

The new firmware seems to fixed it
