I left my home office yesterday for 6 months, only to find out this morning that the DDNS to my home router is not working 
I have a suspicion that this is because the external IP-address of the fiber connection changed without the ASUS router itself had been booted. Will the Asus DDNS refresh itself if someone can get into my house and reboot the router, or what exactly is required to make the service active again? Will the router at given time intervals contact the asuscomm.com service, or how exactly is the current ip updated?
