RT AC5300 Slows down internet speed

What settings should I turn off or on to get my speed back. I connected my FIOS ethernet cable from the ONT box straight to the computer and gave exactly what my ISP is providing me, however when connected to the router it's about 30Mbps less.

what speed plan are you on and what speeds do you actually get when you are connected direct as 30Mbps is not a lot if you have say a 500Mbps plan

My speeds are 300/300 Mbps. I get 295Mbps when connected straight to the computer, when using my router I get 285 Mbps.
