RT-AC66U and HFS+ support

I see that the AC68U has HFS support in firmware upgrade 3.0.0.4.374_5517-g302e4dc. Is it possible to use this and gain HFS+ support also for the RT-AC66U?

No.

The AC66 and AC68 use a different CPU architecture, and Asus only licensed a copy of the HFS+ driver from Paragon for the newer ARM architecture. ARM code cannot be run on older MIPS-based routers.
