RT-AC66U will ONLY support 10 printers

This list is only the confirmed printers that have been tested. It is also a bit outdated and I will try to get them to post an updated version soon.

Any printer that supports Line Printer Remote (LPR) or Line Printer Daemon (LPD) should work.

If you have a printer you can follow this guide to connect it: http://support.asus.com/Search/KDetail.aspx?SLanguage=en&no=DFF9A3E5-E115-9898-0933-D922CBBF1A2E&t=2

doest work for mac and fios

This doesnt work if you are in a FiOS setup. Running the AC66U as a second router for better wireless speed than verizion's pathetic G band...
It does not recognize the printer - even when using LPD.
I also have a windows 7 machine on the network. That was able to identify it. It may be due to the fact that the windows machine is directly wired into that router where as the macbook is is wireless... albeit connected to the same router - but I doubt it.

i was having problems getting it to recognize the printer, on my mac using LPD too. But it seems the fix was to set it up EXACTLY as ASUS suggests, the Queue name should be "LPRServer"

WOrks for me now. (I have a canon printer which isn't on the supported list)
