I have a problem configuring external access to my synology.
I have asus merlin firmware and use openvpn with policy rules. My synology is set to connect through the VPN and i can't connect to it from outside home using my box ip adress. I have forwarded ports 5000 and 5001 to the ip of my synology but when it connects through vpn, port forwarding doesn't work anymore.
So, i guess the solution is to set ports 5000 and 5001 to bypass vpn and connect through WAN.
I've read the forum, but i'm a network newbie and i don't know which rules to add to do this. Help would be very welcomed !
