Thanks RMerlin, I did see the sticky before I posted my question. I see that the RT-AC68P is supported, however it is not clear if there is a specific firmware version for this model or if I should use the RT-AC68U version?

I hate to assume.

thanks for your assistance.

No problem.

The AC68P shares the same build as the AC68U, AC68R and AC68W.

Difference between the RT-AC68U and RT-AC68P

hi,
I purchased the RT-AC68P at BB, but Amazon had the RT-AC68U for the same price?
What is the difference between the RT-AC 68U and RT-AC68P?
thanks
Jim

The P has a slightly faster cpu.

The P has a slightly faster cpu.

I'd say it's actually quite significant - a 25% boost, from 800 MHz to 1 GHz. It probably also supports Level 2 HW acceleration (Flow Acceleration).

At equal price, it would be a no-brainer IMHO - definitely the RT-AC68P.

Ah, didn't realize it was that significant.

Thanks!
