RT-AC68U - Connect Clients?

RT-AC68U with 378.5.5

I noticed a few times i have logged in my router, it states clients connected is a higher than normal number.
However, when i hit the list of clients, the number updates and only the computers i know are connected.

my guest networks stay off and i have a strong password set up for the wireless i do have turned on with WPA-2 personal encryption set

Is this some sort of bug?

Probably all clients, getting in range of your router, are registered, even when they do not actually log-on....

I've seen duplicates in the table. I think it happens when a client moves from one radio to another.

thats whats strange it says 16 clients on the Network Map screen , when i hit the Client, it shows 6,
then it shows 6 clients on the Network Map screen
