RT-AC68U FTP Woes

RT-AC68U / Firmware:378.56_2

I recently decided to enable FTP internally for my new webcam.

• Enable FTP (on USB Application => FTP Share screen)
• Create User in FTP Share screen
• Gave user R/W for a folder (on external USB HDD that I have been using for Samba for many moons)

WINSCP - FTP with newly created user. Logs on fine and I can only access the new Folder

All I can create is an empty file with Owner 1

There are no other options I can see in the interface so I cannot understand why this is not working. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated as I currently have a useless webcam
