RT-AC68U - how to extend wifi reach to other rooms

I have RT-AC68U..

I want to increase its wifi reach to other rooms..

Which wifi extender you will recommend for RT-AC68U?

I'm not the greatest at networking...

Is there a link for your setup? I have the same hardware and want that exact setup!

My setup follows a 3 step KISS principle:

1. Main router on one end/corner of my home
2. 2nd router in Access Point (AP) Mode diagonal on the other end of my home
3. A cable between the two devices

Done!

As I moved into a new home I have GBit cables in the walls to connect all rooms.
If you do not have (or not want) cables, you can use Power Line Adapters to bridge the distance between the two routers.

Another option is to use a Range Extender like Netgear wn3500rp, which I've had good luck with. You can use that to connect to your main router with its 5GHz radio, and cable it to your 2nd router in AP mode. In my house this works better than a PowerLine adapter for both speed and signal stability. But a cable as others suggested is the best option. (But this one doesn't require running wires).

P.S. Obviously, if your link is wireless, don't give your AP the same SSID on 5GHz as your main router.
