RT-AC68U questions

Hello,

New this forum, Hello! I have a couple of questions for the RT-AC68U and was hoping you guys can help me out..

1) I see there is a new firmware on the asus site, but when I check new firmware updates on the router, it tells me I am on the newest one(However I have firmware : 3.0.0.4.376_3626 ) Is this normal ?

2) For real time traffic is there a way to show MB or GB, instead of KB?

3)For VPN is there anyway to do it L2TP VPN?

4)I see everyone talking about this Merlin firmware, is it that much better?

Yes it is better. In fact it is the best of both worlds. Still in the main Asus stream, but with more functions and a faster bug correction cycle.

In John's fork firmware his latest beta release he has this feature were traffic shows as MB instead of KB. Link below.
