Today i was running some test with 5 GHz on 157 channel with MacMini Late 2012 and RT-AC68U.
I noticed when I transfer 1 file I get around 11 MB/s transfer speed. It is nothing special itself. By accident I added another transfer, which started parallel download from USB 3.0 and total download speed climbed to 12,5 MB/s. I aded another transfer and again ... 3 Files with total 13.5 MB/s. So I tried to add some more parallel downloads. The best I get is around 16,5 MB/s with 7 files. Adding more than 7 files doesn't affect any more for speed transfer.
Here comes simply question. Why 1 file can't be transfer with full speed 16.5 MB/s
? Do you get the same transfer speed up with multiply files download?
Currently I'm on 38_2 Merlin's fw because 39 includes broken WL driver from Asus 583 fw.
