[RT-AC78] syslogging security issues

David Arnstein

Regular Contributor
I have system logging working OK. Messages get sent to my syslog server where I can archive them for as long as I wish.

I would like to configure the router so that it syslogs a message when a security issue occurs. Mainly, when someone tries to log in to the router and fails. I would also like to log the activities of the firewall.

I know how to use Linux, although I am unfamiliar with Asus Linux. I do not see the init text files that I am used to.
