RT-AC86U - opkg is missing?

Hi forum,

I have an Asus RT-AC86U running Merlin 384.15.

I wanted to know if DNS over TLS was working, so I tried to install tcpdump.

That's what I get when I type opkg

Code:
oliver@RT-AC86U:/tmp/home/root# opkg
-sh: opkg: not found
oliver@RT-AC86U:/tmp/home/root#

Am I missing something obvious here? I've done a quick search and opkg seems to be the command to be used.

Hi
I install Entware on my AC86U Asuswrt-Merlin 386.14 but when i connect via ssh and type 'opkg' then i receive:
Code:
-sh: opkg: not found
What happend ?

How, exactly, did you "install" entware? The normal process is to wake amtm (already installed) and use "ep".
What do you have for a usb drive? Correctly formatted to ext4 in amtm? jffs scripts allowed?

Everything works fine, thanks

What does "everything works fine" mean? Did you fix the "opkg" issue you initially posted about? If so please post how you did so for others who may experience the same issue that you did.

If you didn't fix your "opkg" issue then providing the information on how exactly you installed Entware and the make/model of the USB drive used along with how it was formatted for use on the router, and if JFFS scripts are allowed, may provide additional context for others so they can provide a more informed response.

Ok, when I first time try install Entware have connect two device to router - usb stick and hard drive.
When I disconnect usb drive from router and install again and now opkg works.
