Hey Guys,
i've got several devices in the house, namely 2 android phones, 2 iphone 5s'. the router is flashed to firmware 3.0.0.4.380.1354. did a hard reset/factory restore then proceeded to setup the ssids and channels.
on the 2.4ghz i've turned off all the beam forming options.
on the 5ghz network, all devices work fine, but the range is abit bad (it should be able to go 10 meters through 2 plaster walls right? i didnt have this issue with my rt-n66u)
on the 2.4ghz however, only the androids seem to have no issue.
The iphones are able to detect and connect to the networks, but after about 1 minute of use, the connection seems to die off. the device still appears to be connected, wifi signal on the symbols are usually full, occasionally jumps between 3 bar and 2 bar.
is this a known issue with the RT-AC88U?
