RT-AC88u firmware upgrade

Currently running asus merlin software running latest version. A new stock Asus firmware came out on
Version 3.0.0.4.386.45898
2021/10/21

How would I go about upgrading to the latest Asus firmware when running Merlin without loosing any settings.

Without losing settings? Write them down (old school, or electronically).

You may be able to do this 'upgrade' (and think it's okay), but your network won't be running with any degree of stable, or expectations thereof.
