RT-AX86S vs RT-AX86U - pretty close?

New Around Here
I am considering buying an RT-AX86S since it is at sale for $199 - the only review comparing the two I found state states almost similar WiFi range which is the most important parameter for me. Does anyone else who has the 86S weigh in on it's range and if you can compare it to any other ASUS router you owned?

AX86U and AX86S have the same Wi-Fi hardware and run the same firmware. Expected everyday use Wi-Fi performance is the same with one exception - AX86S has Gigabit ports only and may limit the throughput to 2-stream AX client connected at high link speed @160MHz (up to 2400Mbps). This client with good Wi-Fi signal level can exceed 940Mbps throughput (Gigabit Ethernet) and go up to about 1.7Gbps in close to ideal conditions. If you need more range though and not maximum speed, 80MHz wide channel has better range than 160MHz.
