RT-AX86U losing internet at 3 different locations

Everything has been rock solid at all 3 sites (my house and two family members houses) for months/years.
Lately at all three the RT-AX86U main routers have to be reset daily to regain internet.

My setup is a bit more customized with add ons, OpenDSN, vpn, etc but the other two are bare bones.
I used Windstream dsl in a bridge setup whereas the other two are connected to verizon hotspot (tcl) devices.

The only similarity seems to be the RT-AX86U units. All on the latest firmware.

This morning before me rebooting it, mine had a ton of messages of "kernel: mroute: pending queue full, dropping entries" but not finding much to say if that's related.

I can't rule out that it's just a fluke that all 3 are having issues now but it seems odd.

Looking for any suggestions or things to look for as it's unpredictable and not recreatable on demand.

I don't recall if I was on 388.9_0 or not on any of the units before going to 9_2 so I would have to say 388.8_4.
I meant to mention since I know it's important that I did NOT do a clean flash going to 9_2. Admittedly for my own unit it's laziness but for the other two it's because I flash them remotely.
I can definitely do that on mine and the others when I visit next but was hoping there might be something to look for that would indicate if that is what is needed or if that will be wasted effort (on mine, the other two basically stock ones won't take any effort to do once I am onsite).

Use the last known good firmware for your router based on your own experience. The remote bare bone ones - stock Asuswrt.

And factory reset, manual configure, if downgrading firmware doesn't help. Recommended practice when flashing firmware in either direction. Many do get away with it, but depends on the config i suspect.
