RT-AX88U password forgotten, will i loose all the configs??

Hello !

I have forgotten my router password :-( and i have googled a bit and know i will have to reset my routeur, but one thing that i'm not 100% clear and maybe someone can help me on :

Will i loose all the configuration if i do a reset (wifi networks, port forwarding, dhcp, ....) ?

and event further is there a way to only reset the password ?

Yes you will loose everything. No you can't reset just the password. Sorry.

Hope you have saved router configuration on safe place. If the answer is yes, the router reset is not a big trouble.

@L&LD, My fault I totally forgot that the password is also included in the .CFG file.
