They just have to disclose data collection details now and offer choices. Nothing wrong with it and perhaps no change to what was collected before without notice. What I find weird is the fact the user may choose to disagree, but the company will still know (track) what firmware is the product running and auto upgrade it if necessary. This action invalidates the user's choice, no?

Have upgraded to this latest Firmware all looks good but i have noticed that auto firmware upgrade seems to have been turned on unless i have turned it on by mistake could someone confirm this as the changelog don't mention it.

Seems to be common in newer Asus firmware. Built in safety feature for ignorant consumers. Just live with it...
