After long-term problems and lack of solutions for my personal situation with the RT-AX92U which I was using as a mesh set with 2 nodes.
Switched to the XT9 as mesh set with 2 nodes, now running for a month with no issues. (Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388_21069)
Nodes are connected via wireless backhaul.
Very happy to have a good workable home network again.
