There are a very large number of 1- and 2-star reviews on Amazon for the RT-BE86U. Lots of DOA and malfunctioning routers out-of-the box. However, I don't see many people complaining about it on this forum
 
Because:
a. Most of us know how configure them correctly
b. Those coming here for advice quickly learn how to configure them.
C. The majority of the failures are through poor configuration.

..... see a pattern?
