RT-BE86U version 3006_102.5 very poor performance and missing many options on professional wifi settings page

New Around Here
As the title suggests, upgrading to version 3006_102.5 on the ASUS RT-BE86U cause extremely poor Wi-Fi stability for my VR headset.

Many important options on the Wi-Fi professional settings page on version 3006_102.5 are completely missing such as beamforming which introduces terrible connection issues and many dropped frames for my setup.

I have reverted back to 3006_102.4 where all options are available on the professional Wi-Fi settings so it's possible to disable beamforming and now my Wi-Fi is working flawlessly again.

I was just hoping that in future versions you might be able to find a fix for this problem if you have time as I won't be able to upgrade until it's resolved.

Maybe it's just like that on the official firmware I haven't really tried it to compare.

What I can say is it's impossible to tune the Wi-Fi to a stable state for my Quest 3 without the full set of options.

I'm thinking of just buying a new tri-band Wi-Fi 7 router with 6Ghz such as the Ubiquity Dream Router 7 or maybe the TP-Link Archer BE9700. It's going to be hard to find another consumer router with the same features that Merlin offers on the RT-BE86U.
