RT-N65U keeps dropping connection

I have the n65u with latest firmware 3.0.0.4.374_1317, lately it has been dropping internet connection often.

In settings it will state internet status: connected, but the asus ddns will say not connected.

Could the asus ddns be causing the drop outs?
