Solved RT-N66 Can't change dhcp settings

In the DHCP menu, changing the LAN>DHCP Server> DNS Server 1 entry and then "Apply" results in total loss of connection...no Ethernet or Wireless, and I must reset router. Using John's Fork, either 47EB or 46d3. I am trying to change DNS to IP of pihole and had previously done this but I do not recall the version or any "trick".

"Trick" was to select the "No" button in "Connect to DNS Server Automatically". Apologies for all this thrashing around on setup...just switched to ftth and ONT from satellite and reworking system and my memory isn't working well.
