I was wondering why in Windows when I start the Command Prompt and type "ipconfig /all", it lists my DNS server as only 192.168.1.1 (router's ip?) and there is a WINS server ip which is the same.
With my previous Linksys router, if I did an ipconfig /all it would show my ISP's 2 DNS server plus the router's ip (so 3 DNS IPs) and there was no WINS server entry before.
How do I fix that with this router so when I type "ipconfig /all" I can see my ISP's DNS servers too or see what DNS servers my router is using.
I believe if I check the Network Map in the router's page I can see my WAN settings which contain my ISP's DNS server and gateway. But I don't want to have to open up my router's page to see the DNS whenever I want to do an "ipconfig /all"
Any help or insight is appreciated.
