RT-N66U: cannot login with password problem, while I can login via ssh

Hello, this is my first question here. I am in a bunch of trouble with RT-N66U recently.

One of the problem is occasionally, I cannot login via http. The web interface says "The user name or password you entered for area “RT-N66U” on 192.168.1.1:80 was incorrect. Make sure you’re entering them correctly, and then try again."

However, I can login using ssh. Apparently, it is not username or password issue.
The wireless network itself is still working.

Can anybody help me with this issue? I am using Merlin, 3.0.0.4_374.34_2 .

Looks like a known issue with the ASUS web server in the latest release (both stock and Merlin).
