RT-N66U Drop Down Menus Not Working

PrimeRib

New Around Here
I see there is another post on this issue but it did not solve my problem. Yesterday I updated to the latest firmware and now the dropdown menus to select a client (such as for parental controls) have an issue. The dropdown menus show when I access the control panel on my iPhone, but the dropdown menus will not show when accessing the control panel on either a Windows 7/64 or 8.1/64 computer. I tried rebooting the router, reinstalling the firmware update and rebooting the computers. Help. Thanks.

I checked with Asus and they said to reset the router to factory specs by holding down the reset button on the unit for 15 seconds and then recreate my network using a DIFFERENT network name never used before as well as different names for the 2.4 and 5 networks.

I plan on doing that but if anyone has an approach that will enable me to retain my existing network names, I would appreciate it. Creating a new network name will result in having to remap 40 devices to the new network name. Thanks.

After further testing, without resetting the router, the drop-down menus still do not work in IE. But the drop-down menus do work when accessing the control panel using Chrome, but Chrome does have some issues. For example, if I go to another section of the control panel, such as the wireless section, and then return to the parental control panel, the drop-down menu no longer works until I hit the "reload this page" arrow in the browser address line of Google Chrome. After hitting the reload arrow, the drop-down menus then work.
