RT-N66U - LAN only 100mbits

New Around Here
Hello,

I buy a new RT-N66U to improve my lan.
Before I have only a switch with a DLink 320T (old model) and the clients can connet at GBit speed.

Now I connect my clients at ASUS and I can't have Gbit, only 100Mbits.
The DLink is not connect in bridge, I make double nat.
Is only temporary (2 weeks) but I need GBit LAN.

How can I make it?

Best regards

Make sure all cables are rated Cat 5e or Cat6.

If you have any doubt about a cable, replace it.

Yeah,

I'm sure that all are fine and OK.
I'm using last Merlin FW 3.0.0.4.374.32

With my old gigabit switch I have no problem at all.
Everythings that have a GBit port can work at max speed.

Could be possible that is the wan is 100Mbit all LAN go to 100Mbit??

Is your Dlink still in the mix (you mentioned it might be, w/ double NAT?)?

Try taking that out of the mix.

At the bottom of this page it should identify the speed of each device plugged into each port: http://192.168.1.1/Tools_Sysinfo.asp

Did you have the N66U installed at one point, working properly w/ gigabit switch speeds, and then you upgraded to Merlinware?

It's pretty strange.
Now I see 1000 Mbps and on connection propriety of my pc all are fine and I see 1Gbps.

I was really sure about that.
Now is all ok. Thanks a lot ;)

I would consider replacing the Ethernet cable if it renegotiate down to 100 Mbits. Some cheap cables might be unreliable - I even heard about some being incorrectly labelled as Cat 5e when they weren't really tested at those speeds.
