Rt-N66U: Total # of 2.4Ghz Wireless Channels Available?

WiFi Analayzer (phone app) is telling me that the best CHANNEL to use for my 2.4Ghz wireless is "channel 14."

However when I log in to my N66U gui.....under wireless > 2.4Ghz > Channel Control.....I only see channels 1-11.

Is there a way to switch it to channel 14 or does the N66U only go up to channel 11?

Channel 14 is only available in Japan, and only on 802.11b.

Thank you for the explanation RMerlin. Not sure WHY "WiFi Analyzer" was suggesting that I select Channel 14 then.

Are you supposed to set a locale in WiFi Analyzer so it knows where you are? Just a thought.

Old post, im know...but still...
You can set WiFi Analyzer to scan the same channels that your router has.
